six months to roam the earth
in search of what Ive known
the light collapsed around me,
hades came to take me home
his dark eyes abated
from the sweetness of my soul
yet I cursed his abduction
and begged him to let me go
his control and obsession
submerged my spirit
yet, my love
he could not own
