a hiccup
in response
an
avalanche
of
false impressions
paranoia
reprogramming
the voice
of reason
spewing
venemous words
stroking
the body
of selfdom
an innocent
pause
caused
misery
to smile

avenge
he sat next to her
on a bench
one sunday afternoon
a sly smile
upon his face
charming enough
to tame
a two-headed snake
he believed her
to be his next victim
easily
hypnotized
by his
narassisitic
spell
however
this one
was different
birthed
with strong
intuition
awareness
she just
knew things
the stone cold
expression
he used
to fool others
did not fool her
his passive
aggressive
words
fell on
deaf ears
his games
manipulations
tests
amusing
his revenge
his
final undoing
with passion
and retribution
she called upon
Pluto
invoking
a particular
kind of posion
her eyes
begin to grow
dark,
chilly
her voice
less angelic
she asked
him to sit with her,
on the bench,
one sunday afternoon
a sly smile
lay upon
her face
